Pure Pwnage Production Shorts
As many of you may be aware, Pure Pwnage, the wildly popular Toronto based internet show has made the transition from the web to TV show, thanks to an eight episode deal with Showcase here in Canada. As part of the lead up to the premiere in March, they have started releasing a series of production shorts, the first three of which are already online.
The shorts so far consist of Jeremy and FPS Doug dealing with acting classes and other requests made by the network. Unfortunately, the clips can only be viewed by Canadian IPs, which I’m sure is a disappointment from the many fans worldwide. We would love to be able to broadcast these shorts worldwide from our site, but because of the rules of television we can only stream to residents of Canada. At least until all the non-Canadian TV companies de-noobify and decide they want a pro show
Despite some of the changes behind the scenes, if the shorts are any indication, the TV series is keeping in the spirit of the web show.
